I love looking at red carpet fashion – especially the Emmy’s and the Oscar’s. Now that I have a blog I can list the TOP 5 best and worst dressed. Let’s go!
The Best
Let’s start on a positive note, shall we? There weren’t a lot of looks that impressed me, but that doesn’t mean there weren’t good ones out there.
Zoe Kazan
Adorable, the shape of this Miu Miu is flattering and the print is young and different. Her entire look is well coordinated and gives a young and fresh vibe.
Sarah Hyland
The color compliments her so well, and this Zac Posen dress has a beautiful design where the back is bare with just the frontal strap going around as detail. I like the edgy maturity this look gives Sarah.
Chelsea Peretti
I just adore the oriental print this dress has with the tasteful transparency on the top. One thing though, the dress would look even more fabulous if the skirt was black. Don’t you agree?
Emma Roberts
Emma Roberts has come a long way from her Disney years and the old school hollywood look from head to toe is pure glamour. Not such a fan of her after-party dress, though.
Julianne Hough
Sexy tulle dress with an intricate bodice looked perfect on Julianne! To me, it’s the transparency fashion done tastefully. And congrats for not using nude underwear/shorts or plain black, the lacey pattern adds continuation to the dress while still looking covered.
The 5 Worst
Like every red carpet event, a lot of celebrities go a bit crazy and it makes you wonder what were they thinking!
Naomi Grossman
I don’t even know what to say with this one. I think it speaks for itself. Naomi has a unique style, but this one is just not flattering and the thick nude panels in between the black swirls looks plain odd. And it’s not like she has never bared it all before.
Heidi Klum
Heidi! What were you thinking? The model and Project Runway presenter and judge said she picked this right off the runway. However, it’s a miss for me. The sandals are chunky, the yellow is not complimenting and the left sleeved part of the dress looks like a bipolar mistake.
Regina King
I’m sorry Regina, but this dress makes you look like a sprinkled wedding cake. Not a fan of the stiff skirt.
Naomi Watts
Naomi watts was another one wearing what I’m going to start calling the bipolar trend. This Dior dress is shapeless and made me and several other wonder if she wasn’t pregnant again! She isn’t. And the back is in a completely different print that clashes with the front. Why Dior, why?
Laila Robins
There were other contestants for this last spot of worst dressed. And they are worse than this, but this dress just overwhelms her so much! You just don’t look at her, which is a pity.
