Me and Melissa over at melissahoffmanbeauty decided to start a new TAG where the participants are randomly assigned a color which they will use mainly on their beauty look.

The color I got was brown. I rarely use brown eyeshadow because I have this paranoya with my dark circles… but I am slowly adding it to my daily routine!

Products

Products used: Lime Crime eyeshadows in Icon and Aura; Velvetine in Cashmere. Sleek matte blue eyeshadow from Ultra Matte palette. Maybelline The Rocket Mascara. Demi Wispies Falsies. MAC powder contour in Shadowy. Tarte tarteist liner.

Tutorial

1. Start with a concealed and primed canvas. Here I am using Dermablend foundation and Nars eye primer.
2. Next apply heavily to the outer corner of the eye your brown (Icon) eyeshadow. JUST the outer corner.
3. Blend it up and outwards well. Try to bland the line in the middle of the eyeliner as well but don’t worry too much about it.
4. Next apply a pearl eyeshadow (Aura) on the inner lid area and on the brow bone.
5. Now the blue eyeshadow on the lower lid, apply several layers if needed for as much vibrancy as you want.
6. Last but not least; add a nice cat eyeliner. Here I’m using Tarte’s cream eyeliner (will review soon). And finish with mascara (lashes are optional but fab).
