Nina finished curling her hair, making sure she looked perfect for her date that waited downstairs – probably being pestered by her mom. It had to be perfect, she had started dress shopping as soon as Tommy asked her to Prom. She watched like a thousand makeup tutorials and pinned a bunch of hair inspiration on her boards. But tonight, it all came together and she felt gorgeous. Her dress was perfect, her makeup too, omg she was so excited! She could barely believe this was happening.
Tommy had been her crush for a long time. He might not be the most popular guy in school but to Nina he is the cutest. When he surprised her after class with a huge poster, asking her as his date, she felt like she could pass out! She could barely believe how perfect everything was.
She went downstairs and when she entered the living room, Tommy smiled as soon he saw her, feeling like a lucky guy. Her mom pushed them together to take a bunch of photos until their faces hurt from smiling so much.
“Okay, mom! See you later.”
“Have fun darling, but not too much!”
Arms linked, Tommy lead her to his car, he had recently gotten his license. They drove to Prom ready to have a blast.
